The Justice system has ordered the eviction of a plot of land in the La Verónica neighborhood, in Cañuelas, in order to proceed with a sanitation project linked to a sewage pumping station, according to a local media report. The ruling, issued by the Court of Civil and Commercial No. 27, ordered the release of a 457-square-meter plot destined for this infrastructure, which is key to laying the system in the sector. The judicial resolution is linked to a process initiated in 2016 and the application of a provincial norm mentioned in the file, in a case where the land had been occupied and then subdivided, according to a reconstruction of the process. According to the Noticias Argentinas agency, the operational objective of the measure is to allow the execution of a project that would improve the service for about 50 families living in the area. The same ruling also considered the social situation of the occupants: it was noted that some of the families had apparently been relocated to other neighborhoods, while orders were issued for the intervention of competent bodies for assistance and relocation. The sewage project, by its nature, is part of the municipal sanitation infrastructure agenda, where pumping stations are critical points for maintaining flow, pressure, and service continuity in urban networks.
